This New Year's we are offering our Gala New Year's Weekend in Vermont Bed and Breakfast Package including: a Welcome wine reception, two nights lodging for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, two breakfasts for two, and our Gala New Year's Eve candlelight Dinner for two, dancing to live music from 9PM to 1AM, and a champagne toast with party favors at midnight.

During the winter holidays, you'll find a warm fireplace to enjoy
a cup of eggnog prepared fresh in our kitchen. Nestle into one of
many comfortable sofas and chairs and watch the flames dance about
and smell the aromas of a real wood fireplace. Each night, the Executive chef prepares nightly specials that will entertain you. During December, the Governor's Room will feature our holiday special menu - Governor's Holiday Menu. The Governor's Holiday Menu features traditional favorites like Grilled Crown of Lamb, Coriander rubbed Ahi Tuna, Tenderloin of Beouf Bearnaise, Brandied Venison Escallops, and Pomegranate Roasted Duck. Our appetizers include Maple Glazed Quail, Jumbo Atlantic Shrimp Cocktail, and Apple Fennel Sausage Purse. |

Enjoy our Friday and Saturday Afternoon Tea served from 2 PM to 5PM in our Library by the fireplace. We offer complimentary freshly brewed coffee and an assortment of teas, pastries, danishes, tea cakes, and butter cookies. Our four fireplaces in the Main House will be on all day creating that romantic country inn feeling that is reminiscent of traditional Vermont settings. Or if you like, venture our into our 32 acres of forests and hills and explore the countryside. Look for deer, fox and other wildlife that is so prevalent in Vermont. If it is snowing, ask to use the snowshoes and hike effortlessly through the snow. |

During the holiday season from December 17th to the 30th, the Hartness House Inn is offering the following Holiday Packages for Two which includes: a Welcome Cocktail, Lodging, Breakfast and Dinner, Afternoon Tea, and admission to the Hartness-Porter Museum and Telescope Observatory. The restaurant is opened on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. A full

Vermont Romantic Getaway Package
Our Romantic Getaway Package is a special luxury two night Vermont lodging package in our historic country inn Governor's Suite which includes a fireplace. Named after Governor James Hartness, this is a two room suite with a large living room and fireplace. Following a Friday night arrival you are welcomed with a basket of wine and delicacies for the evening ahead. Next morning, you are served a Champagne Breakfast in bed. The rest of the day is yours to tour Vermont towns like Brandon, Woodstock, Quechee, Ludlow, Okemo, Wilmington and Chester. In the evening, you are invited to a 5-course Gourmet dinner under candle light in the Governor's Dining Room. What a wonderful Vermont country inn experience to share with your loved one.
